Trauma-Informed & Client-Centered Therapy

I have a longstanding passion for community, social justice, and advocacy, which shapes my work as a therapist. Through extensive experience supporting diverse and vulnerable populations, I bring a broad, compassionate perspective to understanding individual challenges. This allows me to tailor therapy using a thoughtful, client-centred approach that honours each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

About

I take a person-centred, genuine, and collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients from varied backgrounds. I primarily support youth, adults, and couples, creating a safe and respectful space to explore challenges and build meaningful change. With over 15 years of experience working within community and systemic settings — including roles as a victim advocate and as part of a Domestic Abuse High Risk Team — I bring a strong understanding of complex and high-risk situations. My areas of specialization include trauma, grief and loss, sexual violence, addictions, domestic violence, and sex work.

Therapeutic Approaches

My work is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from narrative therapy, cognitive-based therapy, EMDR, attachment theory, feminist therapy, and anti-oppressive practice. By combining these methods, I support individuals and couples in building insight, resilience, and practical skills to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
